• Host a “First Step” baby or wedding shower (First Step
  can register at local stores for items on our wish lists)
• Volunteer your time to help with gardening or yard
  work at one of our facilities
• Have a car wash or bake sale
• Host a dinner party and ask guests to make a
  donation to First Step
• Have a “pay $5 to wear jeans to work” day
• Request a speaker for your group (call 734-416-1111)
• Collect cell phones at your place of business, school,
  or religious organization
• Send a donation in memory or celebration of someone
  you love
• Teach the children in your life about non-violence
